went to watch pa-pu-ri-ka after my piano exam today. it was nice! Interesting show...

ok here goes.
it's about this person in a psychology place who invented a device called a DC mini which could be used to enter people's minds while they were sleeping to see their dreams, which could be displayed on a com.
Unfortunately, 3 of them got stolen and were being misused to take over the world by merging dreams with reality. People started to fall into other's dreams even while awake, especially those with more close contact with the DC mini i.e. people who worked in the company. Some people went mad and started saying weird stuff which came from the evil person who stole the DC mini's dream.
Dr Chiba is a researcher at the psychology place as well and she enters people's dreams using her subconscious, Paprika. She and Paprika are like two totally different people cuz Dr Chiba is serious and all and Paprika is more cheerful.
So Dr Chiba and the person who invented the DC mini, Dr Tokita went to find the person who stole the DC minis by observing someone who fell victim to them, who was their Chief. In his dream, which was not really his, they saw another doctor and so they went to find that doctor. At his house Dr Chiba fell victim also and found herself in a dream but she didnt know it and almost ended up tiao-ing lou. So they concluded that people who were more in touch with the DC mini were more susceptible to falling victim to it that's why Dr Chiba could have the dream even while she was awake.
It turned out that doctor was also a victim and they were all stuck in this evil person's dream of dancing refrigerators and unbrellas and a throne that sat on top of tons of wooden dolls.
Because the doctor in the dream was Dr Tokita's assisstant, Dr Tokita decided to enter the dream to ask whether he was a victim or the culprit. But he ended up getting stuck in the dream himself.
So in the end Dr Chiba went into their dreams by Paprika and managed to find the culprit, who was the chairman of the company. She also found out that another fellow doctor was like a slave of the Chairman or something and he collected butterflies. This Doctor guy liked Dr Chiba so in the dream he captured Paprika and tore her in two and there was Dr Chiba inside, unconscious. When he was gonna do something sick the chairman suddenly grew his head from the Dr's shoulder and wanted to kill Dr Chiba. But the guy Doctor didnt want that to happen of course and ended up fighting with the Chairman. Meanwhile, this other guy who was getting treated by Paprika for his strange dreams forced his way into the dream and took Dr Chiba away. The guy doctor's head then exploded into a burst of blue butterflies which went swarming after the cop guy who took Dr Chiba away. So of course he ran away la. But after the Chief told the cop guy to return to his own dream, the cop guy made the doctor guy scared of him and shot him.
He thought everything was over.
By that time dreams and reality were already merging and for some reason, Paprika thought of this link, life and death, dreams and reality, man and... woman! so she floated into the body of Dr Tokita, who was a robot in the dream and out popped this baby who started sucking up all the dreams and in the end sucked up the chairman as well, who was at that point this huge translucent black skeletal thing.
Now it really ended. All the dreams started disappearing from the real world. hooray.

walked home in the rain today.
it wasn't raining but it was when i got to tanah merah. I didn't like walk in the rain to enhance the atmosphere or something dumb like that.
wonder if the skies try to match the weather with the moods of the people that walk beneath it and look up?
what makes a person good at something?
all may have seemed good but nothing was good since yesterday..
met jeremy on the mrt. managed to forget some things.
but not for long.

i feel like a stone.
Today went to sungei buloh for enrichment. So lonely. Because i was in a different group from crispy and xr[who were together]. haiz. But there was 06 amanda and 01 sheena who were quite friendly so it wasn't so bad.
Actually i expected to see more but we only saw like, lots of tree crabs and big fat mudskippers. That was quite cool luh, since i only know mudskippers for being as big as a finger. There you can see them as long as your arm and as fat as two arms put together. Looks quite disgusting when its big la, but it looks cute swimming. Makes you want to squeeze them.
Other than that didn't see much. Other groups got to see sea snakes though. But my group was the last to go to that particular station so the tide was already too low to see anything.
Oh yea we saw big fat moniter lizards too.
Miss Tay asked me whether i was huiwei or desiree Y_Y. We don't look alike anymore laa.. And then i accidentally called her miss yeo and she said shes gonna call me huiwei now. NOooooooooooooooooooooo...
And then xr and kristy were having some weird discussion in the buss T_T...
oh yea, the food there is so dam ex. Like 7.90. And guess what seafood consists of! FISHBALLS and CRABSTICK la. T_T. So waste money. But i shared with amanda and sheena.
The hen duo qian xiu rong bought some dunno what fries for 4.50 man.
I should have just ate ice cream for lunch.

.on dragons.
We rolled around each other and fought, swiping at each other's bodies. Our wings batted our own faces as we twisted and turned. We blinked, but we could still anticipate each other's movements. She grasped hold of one of my feathers. Bright red, a burning flame in her hand. Perhaps too hot for her to handle, for a swipe from me and she lost it, and it was returned back to where it belonged. I clawed her and she bled.
"There's blood!" [her]
"Oh really." [me pretending to care]
And while she was distracted i grabbed a handful of her luminiscent blue feathers and threw them into the fire. They burned. And she was destroyed. Destroyed such that she would never be dragon again, but only human. I was a human, a dragon, and a dragon slayer. Now i had to find a full-fledged dragon and ask it to be my company. Then i would become a dragon master.
There is no compassion in our eyes, For we are the dragon kind.
And that was my dream this morning! About dragons. And i was fighting with my sis. We were both half human half dragon. I was a red dragon and she was a blue dragon and we had to get at least one feather from each other, and burn it, to cast each other into dragon doom. I don't know where this came from. Or if dragons even have feathers. yea. They're supposed to have scales right?
The other dragons i dreamt of had no feathers though, they had scales. There was an angel dragon. Some guardian for little dragons. A white scaled dragon who's scales sparkled in iridescence with the light. Then there was a black dragon. A warrior dragon of sorts. He cast no shadows for he was shadow himself.
There was another scene where the dragons were stuck in this cage thing, where the bars stretched upwards so high in the sky, flying up would cause them to lose much breath. But it was opened at the top. And there were humans standing around there. They wanted to kill the dragons so they had this gas or powder prepared that they were gonna pour into the cage. So the black dragon [called Cro-En] was trying to fly upwards but was choked by the powder that the humans were starting to pour into the cage. I don't know what happened in the end. My head skipped frame to another scene.
For this scene it was some battle theater or something, but it wasn't a battle that was going on. It was people, taking turns to jump like, suuuuper high and hit some thing that was flung into the air earlier, and then land and catch the thing. I think they were all half dragons. Becuase they could jump like 5metres or 7metres high. The atmosphere was like, excitement, with blue spotlights lighting up the dark arena. And the people were all jumping and screaming. It was like a disco actually. I don't know. blah.
So that's it for my dream this morning. Yea. It's quite long cuz i woke up late. I was supposed to go to NUS.. sorry xiu rong bleh. I couldn't get up.

YAY. LP minutes to midnight special edition album is mine! yay! listens*
NUS shoot was 7-9th June. I shot a personal best! 388 yay. 96 99 98 95. i got third. Shiqi got a personal best too! 371, yay. The first got 393 and 2nd was 390. Quite big difference haha. this week isn't turning out too bad now.. haha. ntuc actually had 3-pack kinder buenos for just 2.65 for a while. Lots of good stuff c: oh yea. the medal is quite nice.

.aristal.
Aristal was cool. I saw huiwei and she looked like she was smiling extra happily. She was like dancing righttt in front of us cuz we were sitting really near to the front. And the VIP seats were like, right behind us, which i don't know what the point of that is. I saw Daniel dancing too. Can't miss him. The smallest one. When he hopped around he looked like a small kid la! haha.. so funny... But the first and last dances were quite grande..
I shan't bother going through all the dances.. The first dance was the intro dance. It was kinda mixed up with all the different dance kinds, and with music[Busindre Reel] that i have at home, but its nice. It's really nice to see lots and lots of people dancing together and they all look really happy even if they went for smiling classes.
Skip to the first Malay dance. This one was nice! Cuz the yellow costumes were like, super bright man, quite cool. And i saw huiwei dancing happily. They were like, swaying around quite fast like gold pieces being shuffled around by some greedy hand..
Then afters was the one with charlyn. That one was quite cool. It's like tribal-ly, but i don't really know what genre it's supposed to be. They were like wearing white ghostly dresses before stripping into blossom powerpuff girls tights thingies. I kinda like the ghostly part better though, and there were some people standing on blocks dancing up there. Hah.. I think i'll just fall off..
Then.. was a dance we already watched before.. some anti-drugs thing..
Chinese dance...
Indian dance.. i kinda felt that this one was a bit boring.. though Daniel still looked as happy as ever.
Malay dance, Huiwei's SYF piece i think. Quite nice too, haha. This time, Huiwei started out dancing miles away from us but she soon swayed her way over. I think i saw the solo part which someone was supposed to dance.
Then western dance again. Another drugs thing. This one was pretty cool. Well, i think its supposed to be, and it was.
Then Malay dance again, this one was a slow one though. I think i like fast ones better.

Another western dance..
Western dance with fans! this one was nice, the sound the fans made were nice. I Heard them practising in school before. Didn't know fans could make such a sound. Sounded like scraping a board with lots of grooves or something.
Chinese dance with just three people dancing! All extremely tall and lengthy. They were all smiling like what la. But at least one of them looking genuinely happy. I don't know if they are smiling cuz they have to or they're really happy. I suppose they should be really happy.
Western dance Ballet piece.
Finally, Indian dance, the super grande dance which looks like it has 100 people or something, i don't know, it just looked like a lot. And when they all dance together with all the glittering gold bits of the costume and Daniel's extremely happy and excited face, it's really nice to watch man. It's like a dancing army or something, where everyone's in sync. Cool man.
So that was it for Aristal 2007. Haha. Congrats to all.
Xiu Rong was late. YET AGAIN. yes. AGAIN. although i reminded her not to be. I guess it doesn't work that way. What does? Why is XR always LATEEEEEEEEEEEE................ why?? Thankfully we were still able to get seats where we could see considerably well, unlike Lynna and Ama who had to make do with seats miles away. oh well, who asked them to be late. And blaming us for not saving seats for them cuz we gave the seats to Kirsty and company. summore. It's not our fault man. They came earlier and were in desperate need of a seat. If you guys wanted good seats too, why did you even come so late?You would have thought of coming earlier at least rather than blame us for your misfortune. Rar. Blame yourselves first man.
I shan't bother going through all the dances.. The first dance was the intro dance. It was kinda mixed up with all the different dance kinds, and with music[Busindre Reel] that i have at home, but its nice. It's really nice to see lots and lots of people dancing together and they all look really happy even if they went for smiling classes.
Skip to the first Malay dance. This one was nice! Cuz the yellow costumes were like, super bright man, quite cool. And i saw huiwei dancing happily. They were like, swaying around quite fast like gold pieces being shuffled around by some greedy hand..
Then afters was the one with charlyn. That one was quite cool. It's like tribal-ly, but i don't really know what genre it's supposed to be. They were like wearing white ghostly dresses before stripping into blossom powerpuff girls tights thingies. I kinda like the ghostly part better though, and there were some people standing on blocks dancing up there. Hah.. I think i'll just fall off..
Then.. was a dance we already watched before.. some anti-drugs thing..

Oh, i didn't write about NYT shoot[12th May]. But its so long, i kinda forgot already. But nvm. I only know i shot 94 94 95 92, 375. According to written records, i felt that i couldnt keep still and my shots strangely flew away.
And on that day Julie and Hanson were also arguing about stapling the one-shot cards or not. Actually its better not to so you fully utilize them instead of cutting the total into half by stapling.. And Hanson ate a whole loaf of bread with kaya. Scary man.
After NYT was NJIS[19th-20th May]. I shot 377 but i forgot what were my series shots. The banner looked really nice, although Jia Pei wasn't satisfied with it, but im glad enough about it cuz we already worked very hard for it and if it didn't work out for him that's too bad. He's such a control freak and bossy uncle like person anyway. He wants to change everything about the banner, he might as well do the damn thing himself. Y_Y. Can't he be more accepting of other's work. And he simply flares up when people do something wrong. Woww, like that's gonna help. As quoted by him, "Hello?? Who's in charge here??" What a gay thing to say. My impression of him totally blasted into thin air thanks to NJIS. Didn't know he could be such a Thing. And i hate the way he orders people around. So disgusting lar, the way he 'tells' people to leave the room. Ah. But thank goodness its over.
The scoring people made lots of mistakes i think. Cuz today we had to recount everything and we found alot of mistakes. Sometimes the mistakes were such that the whole score still ends up the same, just that individual cards are wrong, but others the score is just counted totally wrongly, like an obvious 7 becoming a 9? And an obvious 9[not even touching the line] becomes a 10. I helped score for one detail, but we have our signatures there and it shows who can't count or see properly. Next time they should try writing names.
For internals i shot 383. 94! 97 96 96. It was quite a lame start cuz when i started i wanted to just shoot to get away the anxiety and fear of shooting the first shot. So i shot like 4 shots of anxiety relieving shots, which included an 8. And there was also another 8 in that series. I shot 3 8s for this shoot but its cuz i kinda jerked for some reason. But after the anxiety relieving shots, i suddenly thought, hey! you better start shooting properly mann! stop wasting your shots! and then suddenly i started shooting better, and pretty fast cuz i shot 40 shots in 20minutes. And it was quite sad cuz a lot of my 9s were 9.9s! sooo close to a ten. But i guess its kinda lucky too cuz some of my 9s were also 9.1s... hah.. a lot of my shots are like that.. very close to the line. Many of my tens are like, very edge-cutting tens too. I think its because i just see its about there and just shoot. And i don't really think about anything cuz i just need to shoot quite quickly. But towards the end i slowed down a lot and 'slpt' a few times cuz i was getting rather breathless from all that quick-shooting. But other than the sort of wasted first 10, it was all ok.
Okkk i shall stop here. Otherwise Xiu Rong will say i write about one whole week again.
